Economic utilization of space
During the merger of Bank~Austria and the Creditanstalt in Vienna, the banks wondered how the large and varied range of office accommodation could be used more efficiently.
Top Office conducted a study and saw possible solutions in teleworking, satellite offices and a change in office concepts.
In the Lassallestrasse building, cubicles were converted into open-plan offices and employees were supplied with LCD screens and desks that can be elevated up to a standing position. These changes alone resulted in a space saving of 23 percent.
