Analyzing potential for an open-plan office
The office accommodation in the Ludwigshafen City Hall – an open-plan office in a 1970s high-rise – was to be renovated. The City of Ludwigshafen wanted to know if the offices would allow introduction of modern office concepts.
Top Office carried out an office space analysis in which modern office concepts – such as communication zones, quiet zones and communication zones – were integrated into the existing building structure. The feasibility of implementing such office concepts in typical open-plan offices – in this case in the public sector – was proven.
